The Story

A longing that became a practice.

I grew up searching for myself in two worlds. As a first-generation Indian American, I had a heritage I loved and a country I called home — but I struggled to find objects that held both at once. I searched for my name on keychains. I looked for my faith in jewelry stores. I came up empty.

When my father was ill, I found myself longing to wear the mantras I was praying — to carry them on my body like armor. That longing became Vaastav.

Vaastav means true reality in Sanskrit. It also lives in my last name, Srivastava. Every piece I make is an attempt to give form to what is real — your faith, your lineage, your prayer, your protection.

Each piece is handcrafted in India. Each one is made with intention.
